She was born in 1973 in Isfahan, Iran.

In 2003, she earned her Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Tehran University of Art.

Since 2005, she has specialized in lighting and luminaire design. Together with Mehran Hashemi, she co‑founded MEHA Design, which began as a technical design center for lighting projects and later expanded into furniture design.

She also co‑established Tehran Movement to promote professional Iranian design activities. Through Tehran Movement, she leads workshops and offers consultancy, guiding young designers to successfully navigate the Iranian design market.

In addition, she is the author of the book series Atin o Patin, which aims to strengthen the bond between mother and child through shared reading experiences with infants.

Shekoofeh also has experience in jewelry design, providing bespoke, one‑of‑a‑kind pieces tailored to each client.
